This collaboration is a combination of PerfoTec's advanced technology and Green Factory's in-depth expertise in fresh produce, aiming to redefine freshness standards across Europe.

It was during the intensive operational collaboration over the past few months, focused on process optimization, that it became clear a strong partnership was forming between the PerfoTec and Green Factory teams, which is more than just a business relationship. A strong partnership was built on mutual trust and a shared ambition to achieve results that go beyond current market standards.
A key element of the collaboration is the implementation by Green Factory of PerfoTec's Laser Perforation technology, which is an advanced Smart Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) solution.
How does this technology work?
● Atmosphere Optimization: Fresh products, such as salads, respire, consuming oxygen and producing carbon dioxide. PerfoTec's technology allows forthe precise matching of oxygen and carbon dioxide levels inside the packaging to the specific respiration rate of the product.
● Laser Precision: Thanks to laser perforation, microscopic holes are created in the packaging film that act as "valves" regulating gas exchange. This slows down the natural spoilage processes of the products.
The implementation of PerfoTec MAP allows for the extension of Green Factory products' freshness by crucial days. This directly and measurably translates into:
